Shift SupervisorTerminal EngineerGraduate Trainee

Under the supervision of the Assistant Operations Manager, Shift Supervisor is a member of Terminal’s

operational team fulfilling the liability towards Operations activities with necessary compliance pertaining

to the Engineering standards through a courteous, helpful and professional manner. This position provides

a highly visual deterrent to terminal’s safety and security as well while adhering to the Quality, Health &

environmental standards.

Primary Objectives include but are not limited to:

• Adheres to the HSSE Management System of the Terminal in line with the Authority Requirement.

• Manages tank farm activities, including Shipments, tanker loading/offloading, berthing & planning

of vessel, blending of products, etc.

• Complies with all the required documentation of operational checklists and reports for Operations

Activities.

• Maintains product quality at the highest level while delivering to customers.

• Monitors bulk stocks of tanks.

• Enhances improvement in operations activity, proposes new procedures to maintain quality and

safety of product and operating staff.

• Assists the Asst Operations Manager Projects & Maintenance

• Strictly monitors the compliance of all the HSSE standards & follows up in case of non-conformance

to ensure that corrective actions are being implemented where necessary.

• Complies with the system of ''Safe Work Permit” & ensures its implementation.

• Assists the Asst. Operations Manager in implementation of Job Safety Analysis and simultaneously

inspects the job site activities with maximum concern towards hazardous areas.

• Coordinates and participates in the investigation of accidents & near misses and thereby

suggesting corrective measures for reoccurrence.

• Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting facilities, safety and emergency response

equipment.

• Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and

evacuation plans.

• Conduct trainings pertaining to Tool Box on daily Basis

• Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly Operations activity reports & HSE reports.

Requirements

1. Degree in Engineering or Equivalent

2. 5 Years of overall Oil Terminal Experience.

Opening: Terminal Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Sharjah, UAE

  • Develop detailed project plans for terminal expansion including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during project planning, execution, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure project deliverables meet specified requirements.
  • Adheres to the HSSE Management System of the Terminal in line with the Authority Requirement.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of Terminal construction activities.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage project documentation and records.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in terminal or industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
